The Albuquerque venue is temporarily closing while we seek a new operator.
Electric Playhouse Albuquerque’s last day of operation will be Sunday, August 2. Following that date, the venue will temporarily close while we seek a new operator to assume its day-to-day operations.
During this transition, general admission, birthday parties, and other reservations will be unavailable beginning August 3. Guests who have previously booked a private event or purchased a membership will receive a separate communication with additional information regarding how their booking or membership will be handled.
We understand that this news may be disappointing, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We hope the transition will be completed quickly and will share updates through our social media channels and email list as more information becomes available.While the Albuquerque venue is paused, the Electric Playhouse mission continues.
Operator Qualifications
Electric Playhouse is seeking an experienced individual, company, or operating group to independently assume responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Albuquerque venue. This is not a General Manager or employee position.
The prospective operator should have relevant experience in hospitality, entertainment, attractions, events, restaurants, or a similar consumer-facing business, along with the financial resources necessary to successfully operate and grow the venue.
As part of the transition, the operator would enter into a negotiated license agreement with Electric Playhouse for use of our technology, content, brand, and interactive experience platform. The final structure will be negotiated with the selected operator and is expected to include an upfront license fee or advance.
Prospective operators should also have access to sufficient working capital to fund ongoing operations, staffing, marketing, inventory, and other expenses necessary to ensure a successful transition and sustainable operation of the venue.
We are interested in speaking with qualified entrepreneurs, hospitality or entertainment groups, existing venue operators, and other well-capitalized organizations interested in bringing Electric Playhouse Albuquerque into its next chapter.
