Electric Playhouse Albuquerque’s last day of operation will be Sunday, August 2. Following that date, the venue will temporarily close while we seek a new operator to assume its day-to-day operations.
During this transition, general admission, birthday parties, and other reservations will be unavailable beginning August 3. Guests who have previously booked a private event or purchased a membership will receive a separate communication with additional information regarding how their booking or membership will be handled.
We understand that this news may be disappointing, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We hope the transition will be completed quickly and will share updates through our social media channels and email list as more information becomes available.While the Albuquerque venue is paused, the Electric Playhouse mission continues.
At its core, Electric Playhouse is a technology platform company.Our mission has always been to get people of all ages off their phones and moving, playing, learning, and connecting with one another in new ways.To expand that mission and create an impact at a larger scale, Electric Playhouse is shifting its focus from directly operating a brick-and-mortar venue to bringing our motion-activated and immersive technology to museums, schools, community centers, businesses, events, and other destinations.
Electric Playhouse is temporarily closing while we seek a new venue operator. Because the reopening timeline is not yet confirmed, admissions, birthday parties, and other reservations have been turned off beginning August 3.
Guests with an existing private-event reservation will receive a separate communication explaining how their booking will be handled.
Members will receive a separate communication with information regarding their membership and next steps.
